ATLANTA (Oct. 7, 2019) – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Jordan Leitch and Laura Beier of Berry have been named SAA Volleyball Players of the Week.

Offense - Jordan Leitch - Setter - Berry

Leitch helped the Vikings go 2-0 on the road against SAA opponents. In six sets, she posted 12.8 assists per match. Additionally, she added a .316 attack percentage and finished with seven blocks. 

Against Rhodes, Leitch had 39 assists and two kills. She then posted 38 assists, one kill, and one ace in a victory in a key win against Hendrix.

Defense - Laura Beier - Libero - Berry

In two road wins, Beier averaged 5.5 digs per set. In a win against Rhodes, she posted two aces, five assists, and 23 digs. A day later, Beier added 10 digs and five aces.
