Berry jumps to No. 24 in latest AVCA Top-25 poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 12, 2018) — The Berry volleyball team jumped one spot to No. 24 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25, the organization announced, Wednesday. 

The Vikings currently sit at 4-2 on the year, going 2-1 last weekend at the Emory National Tournament. Berry defeated Whitworth and Tufts in straight sets before falling to Emory, now ranked No. 6, 3-0. 

Berry currently leads the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) in blocks per set (2.24). The Vikings will open SAA competition tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. at home against Oglethorpe University.
