Huitt and Bilsky are named SAA Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week

ATLANTA (April 10, 2019) - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Kiersten Huitt of Hendrix and Alexa Bilsky of Berry have been named the SAA Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Women's Track

Kiersten Huitt - Hendrix

Huitt lowered her conference-best time in the 100 hurdles, running 15.17 to finish second at the Rhodes 7-way meet. She also ran a leg on both relays.

The Hendrix relay team ranks third in the 4x100 and second in the 4x400.

Women's Field

Alexa Bilsky - Berry

Bilsky earned fifth place out of a field of 13 NCAA Division I throwers at the Auburn Tiger Track Classic. This past weekend, her best attempt was a throw of 40.23m (132'0) in the javelin. That mark currently leads the SAA and ranks second in the South/SE Region. Finally, her mark ranks 15, nationally.
