Andrey and Hunt are named SAA Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week

ATLANTA (April 2, 2019) - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Nicolette Andrey of Oglethorpe and Jaydan Hunt of Hendrix have been named the SAA Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Women's Track

Nicolette Andrey - Oglethorpe

Andrey had a wonderful showing this past weekend in the 400-meter hurdles at the Emory Classic. She finished seventh overall and second among all NCAA Division III athletes.

Additionally, Andrey set an OU school record which was previously posted in 2003. Nicolette is currently second in the SAA, fourth in the S/SE Region, and 20th among all NCAA D-III student-athletes.

Women's Field

Jaydan Hunt - Hendrix

Hunt threw 37.81 in the discus, which currently ranks second in the conference. She also threw 11.02 in the shot put, which is currently third in the SAA.
