Dohoney and McAninch named SAA Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week

ATLANTA (Dec. 4, 2018) – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Trinity Dohoney of Hendrix and Elizabeth McAninch of Rhodes have been named the SAA Women's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week.

Swimming - Trinity Dohoney - Hendrix

Last weekend, Dohoney won four individual events at the 3rd Annual Hendrix Invitational.. She posted times of 5.24.80 (500 Free), 1.00.18 (100 Fly), 2.19.01 (200 Fly), and 2.14.84 (200 Backstroke). Her 100 Fly time set a new school record. Dohoney was also part of the 200 Free Relay that set a new school record. In that race, she posted a split of 25.01 seconds.

Diving - Elizabeth McAninch - Rhodes

McAninch scored 290.75 on one-meter event and posted a total of 294.4 on the three-meter board. Both ranked in the top-10 at the competive Transylvania Invitational.
