ATLANTA (July 30, 2018) - The Hendrix College athletic department announced that Kristi Crowley has been named the head women's lacrosse coach for the Warriors.
"We feel very fortunate to have been able to find a coach of Coach Crowley's caliber to lead our Women's Lacrosse program," stated Weaver. "Coach Crowley is a proven recruiter who will be able to continue the grow the excitement around the program by engaging our current student-athletes as well as spreading the reputation of Hendrix and our Women's Lacrosse program with future recruits."
Before coming to Hendrix, Crowley served as the head women's lacrosse coach for Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. In addition to being the head lacrosse coach, she also assisted with game management and was a physical education professor as well. Crowley managed games for the 2017, 2018, and 2019 seasons for Westminster College.
Crowley was also head coach of Northland College in Ashland, Wis. for the 2015 season. She developed relationships with club and high school coaches, organized and arranged recruiting visits, managed programs budget, and also organized season games for the 2016-17 year.
In 2014-15, Crowley served as the graduate assistant women's lacrosse coach at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., while also assisting with compliance and game management as well.
Crowley's coaching career originated 2013-14 when she obtained an assistant coach position with Hartwick College in Oneonta, N.Y. Her coaching duties included recruiting and developing the goalies, one of which achieved honorable mention in the Empire 8 Conference that year. implementing daily practice plans, aiding in game preparation daily, assisting in film breakdown, and facilitating game tape exchange/assisting with film breakdown.
Crowley received her B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. in May 2013 and completed her counseling master's program from St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. in 2015.
