Kendall Cunningham named 2018 IWLCA All-American

ATLANTA (June 14, 2018) - The 2018 IWLCA Division III All-Americans, a field of 57 student-athletes, announced that former Rhodes women's lacrosse student-athlete Kendall Cunningham has been named an All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
Cunningham has made women's lacrosse history for the Lynx after earning third-team All-America honors. Not only is she the first in program history, but Cunningham is also the first women's lacrosse player from the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) to earn All-America status. 

Cunningham, the 2018 SAA Offensive Player of the Year and MVP of the SAA Conference Tournament, finished her senior campaign with 101 goals, 116 points, 40 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers.

The Virginia native tied single-game records for caused turnovers (7) and points (11) and now owns the single-game record for goals (11). Cunningham's 2018 statistics rank her third in goals, fourth in goals per game (5.32), and eighth in points among Division III student-athletes for the year.
In her career, Cunningham is a four-time All-SAA and four-time All-South Region honoree. She is the SAA career leader in goals (335) and points (384). Following her final season, Cunningham finished fourth among active Division III players in career points. She held the third most career goals among active players across all divisions and was second among current NCAA Division III student-athletes.
At the end of her career, Cunningham's 335 goals are fifth all-time in NCAA Division III history.
