Birmingham, Ala. (March 12, 2018) - Rhodes senior student-athlete Renn Eason made his third straight appearance at the NCAA Division III National Championship last Saturday.
Eason qualified in high jump and after passing on the opening height of 1.92m, he cleared 1.97m on his first attempt. The veteran's second attempt at 2.02m was good as he then finished with a 2.06m clear on his third attempt. That same height earned his first at last year's indoor nationals meet.
Eason tied MIT's Alec Reduker and with a top-eight finish garnered All-America status for the second straight year.
Eason, who was recently named the 2018 indoor male South/Southeast Region Field Athlete of the Year, also earned the honor in both indoor and outdoor for the 2017 seasons.
