  • Winter / Spring Academic Honor Roll Announced

    ATLANTA –The SAA announced its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll today for the 2016 winter and spring terms and a total of 957 student-athletes made the list. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.

    ATLANTA – The SAA announced the 2016 Spring Sports All-Sportsmanship Teams and 78 student-athletes among the league’s eight full-time members received recognition. Formed in 2011, the SAA places a special emphasis on good sportsmanship and fair play among all competitors.

    ATLANTA, Ga. – The SAA announced the 2015 Men’s Soccer All-Conference award winners and, after exclusive voting conducted by the league’s head coaches, Millsaps’ Nico Roth won Offensive Player of the Year while Oglethorpe’s Vaughn Moore captured Defensive Player of the Year. The Stormy Petrels’ Topher Marshall collected Newcomer of the Year and his head coach, Jon Akin, was named SAA Coach of the Year for the second time in four seasons.
