Fennelly and Stubits earn SAA Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week honors

ATLANTA (March 26, 2018) – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Ryan Fennelly of Rhodes and Ryan Stubits of Sewanee have been named the SAA Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week honorees.

Offense

Ryan Fennelly - Rhodes

Fennelly led Rhodes to a 1-1 week against No. 9 Denison and conference foe Birmingham-Southern. Overall, the Rhodes attackman finished with six goals and two assists. He also added three groundballs and took 19 shots. In each match, Fennelly finished with at least two goals and one assist.

Defense

Ryan Stubits - Sewanee

A faceoff specialist, Stubits won 20-of-26 faceoffs for Sewanee.Against North Central, he finished 10-of-12, and against Oglethorpe, he earned 10 wins in 14 attempts. Alongside his 20 wins, he grabbed a staggering 19 groundballs.
