Lynde and Womack of Sewanee help Tigers sweep weekly SAA men's lacrosse honors

ATLANTA (March 5, 2018) – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Thomas Lynde (Offense) and Bryce Womack (Defense) of Sewanee have been named the SAA Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week honorees.

Offense

Thomas Lynde - Sewanee

In Sewanee's lone contest at Transy on Saturday, Lynde was red-hot on offense. The junior midfielder finished with three goals and three assists. Lynde's hat trick was his first of the season.

Defense

Bryce Womack - Sewanee

Womack was a wall for the Tigers in their lone contest at Transylvania. The junior goalkeeper allowed only three goals while making 14 saves. His 82.4 save percentage led all conference keepers this week in addition to his 3.29 goals against average.
