CLEVAND, Ohio (Dec. 20, 2018) - Headlined by Centre, four Southern Athletic Association (SAA) institutions, were ranked the NCAA Division III Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings through the fall sports season.
The Colonels led the SAA at No. 20. Centre finished with 186 points while Berry ranked No. 33 with a 134 total. 2017-18 Commissioner's Cup winner Rhodes came in at No. 56 with a total of 86 points while Birmingham-Southern closed out the SAA programs at No. 132.
Centre ranked second in the southeast at No. 20. Trinity, who is an SAA affiliate in football, was behind the Colonels at No. 24. The top team regionally ranked was Emory, out of the UAA, at No. 8.
As a conference, the SAA tied with the USA South with four teams ranked. Both of those leagues topped the SCAC, who had three schools ranked. Regionally, the ODAC led all southeastern leagues with five teams ranked.
