Rhodes' Tolliver Selected as Member of NCAA SAAC
Justin Tolliver of Rhodes College has been appointed as a member of the NCAA Division III Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Tolliver, a rising junior defensive back from Canton, Ga., will begin his term of service immediately and remain a member of the council until May, 2016.

(ATLANTA, Ga.) –The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced the 2012 Fall Sports All-Sportsmanship Teams and 50 student-athletes among the league’s eight full-time members and one affiliate member (Transylvania University) received recognition.

SAA Announces 2012 Football All-Conference Award Winners
(ATLANTA, Ga.) –The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced the 2012 Football All-Conference award winners and, after exclusive voting conducted by the league’s head coaches, quarterback Garrett Pinciotti of Millsaps was named Offensive Player of the Year, Millsaps’ defensive lineman Zach Bell was named Defensive Player of the Year, Sewanee’s linebacker Brandon Campbell claimed Newcomer of the Year status and Centre’s kicker/punter Jordan Gay received Special Teams Player of the Year. Millsaps head coach Aaron Pelch received the Coach of the Year honor from his peers.
